With all the sweets, treats, ham and potatoes, and deviled eggs we enjoy around Easter, it’s time for something deliciously healthy. Just recently, the wonderful folks at NutriPro sent us one of their cold-press juicers to try. In short: it’s amazing. It makes the absolute best carrot juice I’ve ever tasted (among many other homemade juices, too many varieties and combinations to count).
The juicer is fast, quiet, and easy to clean (they even included a handy dandy little brush to help you clean it). The juice comes out one spout and the leftover pulp from the fruits and vegetables comes out the other. NutriPro has several great suggestions on what to do with the leftover pulp, but our favorite way to use it is to feed it to our chickens!
The juicer arrived with several awesome recipes, ingredient suggestions, and other fun ideas like making vanilla almond milk or banana sorbet with your juicer (both of which I plan to try very soon). We’ve tried pineapple, citrus, spinach, strawberries, apples, greens, etc. Our favorite so far is the carrot juice recipe. Its crisp, pure flavor is perfectly sweet and balanced.
Disclaimer: NutiPro provided one juicer for me to try at home at no cost to me. All opinions and photos are my own. I was not compensated for this review.
