If you fancy mint chip and/or cookies-n-cream ice cream, you’re going to love this amazing combo. Rich, creamy vanilla ice cream base with a hint of cool peppermint and oodles of crushed mint Oreos swirled in. It’s an indulgent bowl full of homemade minty yumminess.
Mint Cookies & Cream Ice Cream
Yields: About 2 quarts
- 1-1/2c milk
- 1-1/8c sugar
- 3c heavy cream
- 1T vanilla
- 1/4t peppermint extract
- 15 Oreos crushed
Combine the first five ingredients in a bowl and stir until sugar is dissolved. Pour ice cream batter into your ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer's instructions. Add the crushed Oreos in the last 2 minutes of mixing. Place in a freezer-safe container and freeze thoroughly before serving.
